Surrender and rejuvenate in this Restorative yoga offering of healing. Designed as a sanctuary for peace in a chaotic world, this holistic class weaves long holds in gentle poses, slow breathwork, meditation, and sacred sound to connect to the silence within and restore balance.
Amita Stark, M.A., RYT-500 is a student of master yogi Sri Baba Hari Dass. She is a published scholar, yoga teacher, priestess, & kirtan artist in the Bhakti & Tantric traditions who specializes in pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra, ritual, and devotional asana. Amita was the first woman to give blessings at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple in the Santa Cruz Mountains where she served, learned to chant, and lived for 4 years. Known for creating deep safe space for practitioners, Amita has taught and mentored teachers in 200 & 500 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings, Yoga Retreats, Immersions, and Workshops, and has chanted for such luminary teachers as Sally Kempton, Saul David Raye, Micheline Berry, Cristi Christensen, Govind Das & Radha, and Sianna Sherman.
