1pm Tuesdays with Lynette
Lunch Break Vinyasa One Hour Flow
My earliest memories are dancing at the age of 5 in my home town of Cape Town, South Africa. By late teens I was both teaching and performing dance.
I emigrated to the USA in the mid eighties when I left behind dance and entered the world of business. Stresses of balancing both work and family led me to the path of Yoga.
The practice of yoga ignited the flame within me, which triggered this wonderful journey for over twenty years culminating in finding my home at Bhakti Yoga Shala. Practicing under the loving guidance of Govind Das and Radha and inspired by other teachers led to the natural progression of completing both the kirtan and yoga teacher training programs with Govind Das. I, too, am a certified Romana trained pilates teacher in which capacity I currently enjoy together with teaching yoga. I have subsequently travelled to India which unveiled the true path of Bhakti. Come and join me for an hour refuge in a safe nurturing environment during which I will share my philosophy to inhale life by promoting health and wellbeing . My love for music will help us unite and link movement with breath.
I believe one of yoga’s greatest gifts is in understanding that healing begins on the inside. We learn to use the asanas as a vehicle to expand ourselves and live everyday life in a more peaceful, calm and clear way. Moving through the practice, you will gain a greater understanding of how to allow the body to open, unfold, connect and just be
