Astrud Castillo is inspired by the practice of Nada Yoga, the deep inner listening and exploration of the unstruck sound. From this exploration, the inner and outer vibration and expression of Kirtan arises. Astrud brings with her a host of talented musicians from the Bay Area with whom she is honored to play. The band is a caravan of Bhakti Yogis who love to sing in the key of "We". They create a safe and playful space in which hearts can begin to unfold like the lotus emerging from the mud. Kirtan is a way to express gratitude and joy, pain and sorrow and celebrate the gods and goddesses in all their forms. It is through the devotional practice of call and response, and repeating their names, that our hearts awaken and our barriers dissolve. Through this, kirtan enables us to experience wholeness and union, Yoga.
Dattatreya Kirtan offers a fresh and unique take on an ancient spiritual practice. Steeped in the wisdom and practices of the Divine Lineage of Mahavatar Babaji, Shirdi Sai Baba, and Jesus, this approach offers numerous ways to be in relationship with one's practice of Kirtan, including Bhakti and beyond. This practice offers a way through your heart to the Heart of the Divine as well as a way to create an authentic experience of Collective Spirituality.
Come spend an evening with Bodhisattva Shree Swami Premodaya. Many have felt his Divine transmission, and personally experienced the benefits of his transformative power. He has shifted families from poverty to wealth, changed cynics into seers, and guided person after person to the Ultimate itself. He has said: “It’s not enough to remain a sincere seeker. You can become a finder.” The format for ‘Satsang with Premodaya’ begins with a brief silent meditation, followed by discourse and question-&-answer. And for anyone who would like, the opportunity for profound self-discovery work. Swami Premodaya invites you to bring your most significant questions, to give voice to what matters most to you—and if you would like, to allow him to assist.
