In honoring the ancient tradition and art of Bhakti, the path of love, devotion and service, this course will provide a strong foundation and clear techniques for the student of yoga to transform into a teacher of yoga. For those that are currently teaching yoga, this is an opportunity to root deeply in the philosophy and techniques of Bhakti. This is a bhakti/vinyasa based teacher training with instruction in English.

Certifications: Students who complete their 200Hr Yoga Teacher Training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

Curriculum
This program will enhance your knowledge of yoga not only on a physical level, but also on mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.
We will dive into the origins and philosophy of Bhakti Yoga
• Participate in one of the oldest sacred music traditions known as kirtan
• Daily mantra, meditation and chanting of the Divine Names
• Studying the lives and teachings of the great yoga saints and masters
• How to teach a vinyasa yoga class
• Explore intricate breakdowns of “blueprint postures”
• Discuss precise alignment and anatomy of poses
• Learn how to make proper hands on adjustments
• Discover the sister science of yoga known as Ayurveda
• Discuss the seven major chakras (energy centers in the body)
• Practice teaching
• Find your voice
• The integration of yoga and business
• Teaching as right livelihood
• Give and receive a Thai Yoga Massage
There is instruction in V1 (Veda Yoga’s level 1 vinyasa flow) A powerful and dynamic sequence that includes asana, pranayama and meditation. By the end of the program you will feel confident and competent in guiding a 1 hour vinyasa flow sequence in a class setting or as a one-on-one private lesson.
